KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump stated that if Iran intends to construct a new nuclear facility, it will be destroyed. On his social media platform “Truth Social,” Trump wrote, “Those three nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed” following U.S. airstrikes. He added that if Iran wishes to reactivate these nuclear facilities, it would take years. In June, during a 12-day conflict between Iran and Israel, U.S. warplanes targeted Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites. Trump’s remarks come in light of an NBC News report indicating that of the three nuclear facilities struck by the U.S., one has been completely destroyed, while the other two are expected to resume uranium enrichment within two months.
