KABUL: In a tragic incident in Vietnam’s Quang Ninh province, 34 tourists have died, and 8 others are missing after a boat capsized in Ha Long Bay. According to international media reports, the vessel, named “Wondersy,” was carrying 48 tourists and 5 crew members when it encountered a sudden and powerful storm, leading to its sinking. Rescue teams have reportedly managed to pull 11 individuals from the water alive. These tourists were enjoying the natural and scenic sites of Ha Long Bay at the time of the accident. Rescue teams have stated that they have begun efforts to locate the missing individuals but have warned that the death toll may rise. Previously, similar incidents have occurred in Quang Ninh province, but this particular event has been described as the deadliest.
