WASHINGTON: As a result of car attack in a crowded area in Los Angeles of the United States at least 30 people have been injured. The Associated Press reported that the event occurred as a group of people was attempting to enter an art gallery located along a busy road in the Hollywood area. Following the attack, 23 of the injured were transported to the hospital. The driver was found with a gunshot wound to the body. Police are currently searching for a suspect who fled the scene and is believed to have escaped to the Santa Monica area. It remains unclear whether the driver was shot before or after the incident. The Los Angeles Police Department has stated that the condition of seven of the injured individuals is critical. Vehicle attacks on crowded areas have become increasingly lethal in recent years, particularly in Western countries, including the United States.
