International Youth Skills Day; EU supports Afghan youth
BERLIN: The European Union (EU) delegation in Afghanistan has announced its support for Afghan youth on the occasion of International Youth Skills Day.
The EU stated on its X account today that it invests in skills that create job opportunities and keep hopes alive.
According to the delegation, Afghan youth will build a better future through learning planning, tailoring, and agriculture.
The EU emphasized its support for Afghanistan’s private sector and entrepreneurial initiatives, which are essential for youth skill development, innovation, and economic sustainability.
Moreover, the EU asserted that Afghan girls deserve more opportunities, not limitations, reiterating its support for Afghan women and girls.
This follows the EU’s previous commitments to empowering women and girls in Afghanistan.
