Small plane crash at London Airport claims four lives

LONDON: As a result of a small plane crash at Southend Airport in London, four individuals lost their lives.

The incident occurred shortly after the aircraft took off when it encountered technical difficulties and crashed within the airport’s vicinity.

Reports indicate that the flight was intended for the Netherlands but crashed before leaving the airport’s airspace.

International media have reported that Southend Airport has been temporarily closed following the incident.

Located approximately 56 kilometers east of London, the airport is commonly used by EasyJet for flights to various European leisure destinations.

British police have confirmed the incident, stating that the identities of the victims have not yet been released.

Additionally, the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch has dispatched an eight-member team to the crash site to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident.
