Japan sets global record for high-speed internet

TOKYO: According to the Economic Times, Japanese researchers have successfully set a world record for fast internet.

The recorded speed reached an astounding 1.02 petabits per second, equivalent to 127,500 gigabytes per second.

Japanese engineers achieved this milestone using current fiber optic technology, which is expected to transform the way data and computing are utilized globally, as well as how artificial intelligence is leveraged.

Similarly, Business Today has also recognized this internet speed as the fastest in the world.
