KABUL: Abdullah Abdullah, head of the High Peace Council in the former Afghan government, has described the U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan as hostile and aggressive.
In a post on his X platform, he stated: “The criminal Zionist regime (Israel), with the direct involvement of the United States in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s affairs, has once again targeted Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities in an aggressive manner that contradicts all accepted international principles.”
Abdullah emphasized that while diplomatic talks between Iran and European countries have just begun, such “hostile actions under the guise of peace” do not contribute to resolving issues and may lead to instability and severe, unpredictable consequences for the region.
He added: “We strongly condemn this inhumane act and are confident that the awakened human conscience will judge fairly against such actions.”
The United States bombed three Iranian nuclear sites early this morning, including Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.
