WASHINGTON: In the ongoing Major League Cricket in the United States, the Texas Super Kings achieved victory against the Seattle team, thanks to an outstanding performance by Afghan player Noor Ahmad.
The Texas team set a target of 153 runs at the start of the match and followed it up with an impressive bowling display, dismissing all Seattle players for just 60 runs. Noor Ahmad
contributed significantly, conceding only 18 runs in 3 overs and taking out 3 key players from the Seattle team.
On the other hand, Naveen-ul-Haq, another Afghan player who plays for the New York Mumbai team, managed to take two wickets in his recent match, but his team could not secure a win.
Notably, Rashid Khan, the famous Afghan cricket star, is not participating in this year’s US Cricket League to focus more on his training. He also had a weaker performance compared to previous years in last season’s Indian Premier League.
