TEHRAN: Iranian media reports that senior officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have stated that retaliatory attacks against Israel will intensify.
These officials warned that military bases in any country defending Israel against Iran will also be targeted.
Last night, under the leadership of the IRGC, hundreds of missiles were launched at Israel, reportedly bypassing its defense systems and hitting multiple targets. While Israel has not yet commented, Iranian officials claim that the attacks specifically targeted Israel’s nuclear research facility.
In response to Israel’s recent strikes, which reportedly killed over 20 high-ranking military officials and scientists and hit nuclear facilities, Iran launched hundreds of missiles.
Additionally, during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, Russian representative Vasily Nebenzya stated that Israel’s actions could lead the region towards a nuclear conflict.
This statement came as President Putin condemned Israel’s attacks in discussions with medical professionals.
