BEIJING: Chinese company Chery has dispatched 220 humanoid robots named

Morning to its branches in various countries.

Developed with the help of Chery’s internal Al team, AiMOGA, these robots are currently working as sales assistants at several auto shows.

The Morning robot can greet customers, serve drinks, and assist in scheduling test drives. It has been trialed in Malaysia at a car sales center in Kuala Lumpur.

Standing 1.67 meters tall and weighing 65 kilograms, the robot moves at a speed of one meter per second. It features technologies such as a 3D LiDAR system, a panoramic camera, and natural language processing capabilities.

The robot can respond in 10 languages with 95% accuracy and is equipped with two Al processing units. Each unit is priced at approximately 300,000 Malaysian Ringgit (around $65,000).

Chery first introduced the Morning robot at the Smart Strategy exhibition in March 2025 and plans to implement it in public spaces and homes in the future.
