KABUL: A high-ranking Taliban delegation led by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has left for Russia to attend the 16th Kazan International Economic Forum, his office said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the delegation will also hold official meetings with senior officials from several countries on the sidelines of the forum to discuss economic issues.
The forum takes place in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, and brings together government officials, business leaders, and experts from various countries to discuss global and regional economic issues.
