The General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports said in a statement on its Facebook page that a seven-member team from the National Boxing Federation of Afghanistan has departed for Sri Lanka, to participate in the Asian International Boxing Championship.
The Afghan sports delegation consists of five athletes and two coaches.
The Asian International Boxing Championship is set to begin tomorrow (May 12) in Sri Lanka and will continue until May 25.
