GAZA: In its latest annual report, Amnesty International has stated that Israel’s military actions in Gaza since October 7, 2023, may constitute acts of “genocide.”

According to the organization, the attacks have resulted in the deaths of thousands of civilians, the destruction of multigenerational families, and the blockage of access to humanitarian aid.

Anis Kalamar, Secretary General of Amnesty International, described these events as a “genocide unfolding before the eyes of the world,” accusing global governments, particularly the United States, of ignoring international laws. Israel has denied these allegations, asserting that its actions are defensive measures against Hamas.

Based on statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 51,300 individuals have been killed in Gaza, including over 17,400 children.
